What is Igniting the Power Within?
Igniting the Power Within is a four-level series of certification workshops on Essential Skills and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
What does is cost?
A two-day certification workshop is $100.00. There is a travel subsidy available for some participants travelling to Winnipeg.
If I am not Aboriginal can I still come to training events?
The training is most beneficial to those working with Aboriginal people but it is not necessary to have Aboriginal heritage.
Can Igniting the Power Within come to our community to do the training and if so, how much would that cost?
In some cases, it is possible for training to take place in your community. Please contact us for more information.
I missed a level: can I still come to the next level?
There is a RPL process for the various levels. If you are interested in RPL for a certain level please contact us.
